Combat Jiu Jitsu (CJJ) is a 16 man 'finish only' grappling tournament in the most anticipated grappling organization in the world. Under Inch By Inch promotions, CJJ keeps world class grappling honest with open hand palm strikes allowed while an opponent is grounded.
CJJ is designed with the audience's engagement being paramount. The promotion has taken away all the aspects of sport jiu-jitsu that could be viewed as less than entertaining including winning by points, grips to hold the opponent with, and multiple competition mats. The action of the 10 minute matches is pushed to incentivise competitors to move forward and continuously attack using yellow cards and the new 'get down' rule to prevent a stalling wrestling match.
